Aslihan Aykac Yanardag received her BA in Political Science and International Relations at Bogazici University in Turkey, followed by MA and PhD degrees in Sociology at SUNY Binghamton. Her work covers a range of labor related issues including labor transformation in Turkey’s tourism industry, forms of organized labor on a global scale, as well as the instrumental use of social security systems in shaping labor markets.She is currently a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Rutgers University, School of Management and Labor Relations.
